Solinhas – Acabamento de Fios, Ltd.

Solinhas – Acabamento de Fios, Lda. was founded in 1986 by Serafim Fernandes and Manuel Oliveira. In 2012, the company's capital became exclusively the Fernandes family, joining Serafim Fernandes and his daughters Alexandra and Lurdes.

Solinhas is a family business, currently with 22 employees, a dynamic, available, capable and extremely motivated team, which allows the company to have an excellent service.

Solinhas is dedicated to the production and sale of sewing, embroidery and quilting threads in cotton, polyester, high tenacity polyester, polyester-cotton, rayon, meta-aramid, polyamide, lyocell, among others. With extensive experience in lines for home textiles and the clothing industry, he has been developing new products for work and protective clothing, as well as for the footwear industry.

Since 2000 Solinhas has invested in internationalization. Betting on markets such as Spain, France, Germany, Finland and the Maghreb countries. In 2006, the opportunity arose to open a branch in Tunisia, Solinhas Tunisie, with an exclusively commercial aspect, in order to support Portuguese companies that moved to this country.

Currently, in addition to Portuguese companies, Solinhas Tunisie has clients such as Benetton, Next, Etam, Decathlon, Damart, Selmark, Inditex, H&M, Chantelle Group, among others.

Certifications

All items sold by Solinhas are under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, class I certificate, which it has had since 1999.
